ZUG (November 20, 2020) – On Friday, Qontigo’s global index provider STOXX Ltd. announced an unscheduled change to the MDAX index.
Due to the takeover of Metro AG (DE000BFB0019) by EP Global Commerce the free float of Metro AG changed by more than 10 percentage points.

According to the Guide to the DAX Equity Indices, section 5.1.4., the company’s free float will be adjusted in the index from the current 46.94 percent to 36.34 percent.
These changes will become effective on 25 November 2020.
The next scheduled index review is 3 December 2020.
