Nikki Gwilliam-Beeharee
Investor Engagement Lead, World Benchmarking Alliance
Nikki is a sustainable investment professional working at the World Benchmarking Alliance as the Investor Engagement Lead. In this role she works closely with investors and investor-focused actors that are part of the WBA Alliance as well as with the broader investment industry. Previously she worked as the Director of ESG Research at Invesco, a global asset manager. In this role she worked closely with fund managers and analysts across various asset classes to integrate ESG into investment processes and to engage 1-1 and collectively with companies on sustainability topics. Nikki started her career as an ESG analyst and before Invesco, she headed the Research team at Vigeo Eiris, an ESG rating agency. Nikki holds an MA in Human Rights from the University of Sussex, a BA in Economics and Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester, and has attained the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments (CISI) certificate on the ‘Introduction to Securities and Investment’.
Sarah Peasey
Director of European ESG Investing, Neuberger Berman
Sarah is a Director of European ESG Investing at Neuberger Berman. Previously, she was the Head of Responsible Investment Strategy for LGIM. In that role, Sarah was working closely with the CIO, driving the long-term responsible investment strategy, with a focus on research and portfolio management across all investment capabilities, whilst also providing the investment perspective that supports product innovation and shapes client solutions. Before LGIM, Sarah was an Investment Strategist contributing to the macro idea generation across asset classes and investment strategies, and also formerly managed the fixed income investment specialist team, driving and delivering client relationships and communication across the range of Global Fixed Income strategies. Sarah graduated from the University of East Anglia with a first class degree in business management.
John Willis
Director of Research, Planet Tracker
John has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry having worked in a variety of roles including research, portfolio management and trading. He has also had management roles on both the buy-side and sell-side. Prior to joining Planet Tracker, John held the position of Global Head of Research at Deutsche Asset Management and co-founded Sustainable Insight Capital Management, an asset manager of a range of equity funds for sustainability-conscious investors.
Julian Kölbel
Postdoctoral Researcher, Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth, University of Zurich
Dr. Julian Kölbel is an economist and environmental scientist at the Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP) at the University of Zurich. His research covers the real-world impact of sustainable investing, analysis of environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics, as well as the effects of climate change on risk and return. Julian has studied at ETH Zurich, the University of Oxford, and has worked as a Post-Doc at MIT Sloan. Professionally, he has worked at Bank Vontobel, RepRisk AG, and is currently a member of the investment committee at the Swiss pension fund Abendrot.
Lukasz Pomorski
Head of ESG Research, AQR Capital Management
Lukasz Pomorski is the Head of ESG Research and a Managing Director at AQR Capital Management. He is responsible for the planning and oversight of the firm’s responsible investment research efforts across all asset classes. Lukasz frequently publishes on ESG topics, serves on industry committees and speaks at conferences globally. He is a member of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment Hedge Fund Advisory Committee and was previously the chair of UN PRI’s Equity Hedge Fund Working Group. Prior to AQR, Lukasz was an Assistant Director for Research at the Bank of Canada and an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Toronto. His research on ESG, alpha signals, and portfolio construction has been published in top academic and practitioner journals and won several best paper awards. Lukasz earned a B.A. and M.A. in economics at the Warsaw School of Economics, an M.A. in finance at Tilburg University, and a Ph.D. in finance at the University of Chicago.
Harun Dogo
Executive Director, Global Sustainable Finance, Morgan Stanley
Harun Dogo is an Executive Director in the Global Sustainable Finance group at Morgan Stanley, where he leads the Firm’s ESG data efforts, advances quantitative integration of sustainability into investment products across all asset classes, and overseas the development of digital tools for sustainable investing. Prior to joining the Firm, he was an economist at the World Bank, working on a wide range of sustainability and economic policy projects. Earlier in his career, he served on the staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance and was a policy analyst at the RAND Corporation. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he also holds graduate degrees in applied physics and irregular warfare from the Naval Postgraduate School, and in policy analysis from the Pardee RAND Graduate School.
