Zug (February 1, 2021) – Qontigo has licensed the iSTOXX® Global Transformation Select 30 Index to Citi to underlie a structured product. The index represents an investment targeted at key areas driving deep societal and economic change.
It tracks 30 liquid stocks with low volatility and high dividend yield. Eligible companies are also screened to select leaders in ESG criteria and to exclude those involved in undesirable activities. Industry and country neutrality filters are also applied in the selection process to ensure diversification.
“2020 has seen a significant change to established behaviours such as a shift to remote working, the increase of eCommerce, facilitated by new technology and connectivity. At the same time, in the light of environmental issues and the global pandemic, sustainability and healthcare have come sharply into focus. Citi is proud to partner with Qontigo to offer an investment solution linked to the unstoppable trends driving our transforming world via delivery of the iSTOXX Global Transformation Select 30 Index. This index, particularly adapted for structured products, shows Citi’s commitment to develop a unique, relevant offering that echoes our clients need for strong themes and ESG alignment to their investment views.”Arthur Dorbessan, Global Head of Retail indices, Citi
